GRIP believes that adolescent boy’s must have a physical outlet for their feelings. Sports is a great way for kids to sublimate their feelings into socially acceptable ways.
The adolescents at GRIP are encouraged, if appropriate, to participate in school sports. GRIP, also, has a cardio program to help the boys stay healthy and in shape.
GRIP takes two trips per year to help the boys widen their horizons of experience. Many times, the adolescents that are at GRIP have very little experiences with family vacations or traveling outside of their own cities or towns.
GRIP feels that the boys benefit from seeing other people and cultures around this country.
